I’ve spent the last 25 years designing cinematic storytelling systems for Fortune 100 brands — including global keynote launches and three regional Emmy® Award–winning campaigns. My career has been about translating complex ideas into emotionally resonant visual narratives at scale.
The Snow Day is where that discipline meets something deeply personal.
The story is inspired by my daughter skiing through Montana’s Yellowstone country — seeing the wilderness not as background, but as mythic terrain. It’s about a child stepping into a storm and discovering courage, imagination, and independence.
At a time when so much children’s content is fast, ironic, or digitally saturated, this story is tactile. Hand-drawn. Rooted in nature. It’s about resilience, curiosity, and self-reliance — themes that feel distinctly American but universally human.
Structurally, the short film serves as a proof of concept for a scalable story world. It establishes a visual language, tone, and character foundation that can expand into episodic storytelling, publishing, licensing, and experiential live performance.
The long-term vision is to build a Montana-based fine art animation model — handcrafted, cinematic, and grounded in place — and grow it into a feature property with cross-platform potential.
I’m not approaching this as a hobbyist filmmaker. I understand production pipelines, audience psychology, brand architecture, and scalable creative systems.
The Snow Day isn’t just a short film.
It’s the foundation of an expandable world — built with discipline, heart, and long-term intent.
I’m looking for partners who see that bigger horizon.
